The Governor of Al Jahra Reviews the Implementation Mechanisms of the “Sustainable Governorate” Initiative

His Excellency the Governor of Al Jahra, Mr. Hamad Jassem Al Habshi, received Dr. Hanan Al-Sarawi, Director of the Office of Research and Strategic Planning and Head of the Sustainability Team at the Environment Public Authority, this morning, as part of the coordination efforts regarding the “Sustainable Governorate” initiative.

During the meeting, the initiative, its objectives, and related work mechanisms were reviewed. A number of aspects and inquiries concerning the requirements for its implementation were also discussed, contributing to enhanced coordination and greater clarity regarding roles during the upcoming phase.

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency the Governor expressed his appreciation to Dr. Hanan Al-Sarawi for her cooperation and responsiveness to the inquiries raised, commending the efforts of the Environment Public Authority and the Ministry of State for Development and Sustainability Affairs, as well as their cooperation in supporting the initiative and achieving its objectives.
